I had a construction worker client who was the lone provider for his family. One day he experienced a very scary work accident, and was hospitalized. I worked through a settlement with the company and that money was able to be used to support his family while he physically couldn’t. Right before the accident, I was also able to work with him on a life policy. Once the client passed years later, his family received the policy payout, as well as money from an investment account that I started. Even without the sole provider still in the families lives, the contributions from the policy helped support.
